BRANDOLUTION NAMED LICENSING AGENT FOR U.S. & CANADA FOR THE JIM HENSON COMPANY'S NEWEST PRESCHOOL SERIES
"SID THE SCIENCE KID"

Hollywood, CA (December 17, 2007) - The Jim Henson Company has designated the Los Angeles-based licensing and marketing agency Brandolution to handle all U.S. and Canadian licensing for its newest animated preschool science-readiness series "Sid the Science Kid" (formerly "What's the Big Idea?"). Brandolution will work with the Company to develop a licensing program across all relevant preschool consumer product categories including toys, books, activities, party, apparel, and home furnishings, with the goal of introducing a tight assortment of key drivers for the 2008 holiday season followed by full product assortment rolling out in 2009.

Led by Melissa Segal (previous co-founder of Evergreen Concepts), Brandolution's team of industry experts will explore every merchandise opportunity of this new series, focusing on its cast of lovable characters and preschool-appropriate topics that translate into wonderful and innovative products.

"Sid the Science Kid" continues a long legacy of successful preschool programming from The Jim Henson Company that has included "Fraggle Rock," "Bear in the Big Blue House" and "Muppet Babies." Henson has partnered with KCET, the PBS West Coast flagship station, to produce 40 half-hour episodes which will debut in September 2008 on PBS KIDS followed by a two-year on air commitment. The show follows a sketch-comedy format and features Sid, an inquisitive youngster who tackles the everyday ideas that preschoolers find fascinating (Why do bananas go "bad"? How does my juice box straw work? How does a bird fly without a plane?).
