Okay so fashion designers were always known to have a very abstract mind. They experiment and explore unchartered territories and give the world what everyone calls fashion. The 21st century however, has seen a new twist in fashion when designers came out with materials and cloth that has been glued, stapled and joined on to acrylic, plastic and aluminum sheets.
Yes this is no joke laser cutters have been used by designers because they get the materials and then carve out their desired shapes which then make it on to their clothes. The last year has seen mane designers take laser cutters and use them as active tools for the cutting, engraving and production of materials such as metals, wood, plastic etc.

Designers have gone all out with the procedure because it is simply a form of expressing their definitions of modernization. There are no set limits to what can or cannot be created and so models have been lining the runways. It is amazing to see the results because you will be astonished once you find out laser cutters have been used in the process.
Be it hats, leggings, skirts, shirts, jackets, shoes, coats you name it they have worn it and they have made sure these small additions to the clothing is visible. You may be wondering when it all started. Well it had started in 2004 to be exact and since then there has been no looking back neither are the designers thinking to let go of this wonderful innovative idea. Having big bold statement making clothes is what makes you cool and until that persona is what makes society happy tools like the laser cutter will be used in the background.
Designers are not the only ones with their sights on such tools. Jewelry designers and makers have also been using laser cutters for a very long time. All the intricate and delicately carved pieces that you see on the runway or in shops have been made courtesy of the laser cutter. Who knew what a handy little thing it was?
